The bearded vulture, our neighbour!
In 2015 the first bearded vulture “made in South Tyrol” was born.
This was an important event for the introduction of this bird in the Alps. Thus, we are very happy to have the bearded vulture as our neighbour and are glad that since the pair has settled here already four more bearded vultures have been born.
From the “bearded vulture cinema” on the sunny terrace of Hotel zum See you have a great view at the stone wall where the birds have their nest and you can admire their activities as well as the young birds growing up.
